Ever heard of a Top 10 list? Well, this is similar, except there are just 7 topics! What are seven important things that happened in your most recent reading.

You will order your list based on your personal opinion of the importance of each seven; the most important
event will be your "#1" event, but it is the one you write last on your list. Start with "#7," which means you’re starting with the least important of the important events.

Remember to use complete sentences! Remember to let us know the title and author of the book.

#6: Drew was having some trouble playing against the new whits player Tomas, he was strong on defense and pretty good on offense ,too. Drew and him can be a duo if he learns to work together with Tomas.

#5: There first game against Wadleigh was pretty crazy considering they beat Drew all around the court and Tomas wasn't even putting in an effort. They need to learn to work together

#4: The whole season house is trying to get Tomas playing time because he has a chance to get a scholarship. But Tomas isn't playing good or helping the team in any way, shape, or form.

#3: Dr. Doom helped Drew in a big way by getting colleges to come watch his games and even got him a scholarship that he sadly rejected. Dr.Doom will try to get him another scholarship and more colleges to watch his games.

#2: Drew and Tomas start working together kind of. They are strong together they just need to use that power more against teams so they can beat them.

#1: Drew's team is going up against a team that has a guy that says he's 18 but he already has kids that are going into school. They can shut this team down if they really try. They just need to play lock down defense and a rush offense

The London Eye Mystery by Siobhan Dowd

#7: This event was when Ted made up his eight theories of how Salim may have disappeared on the Eye. Ted’s actions can help prove that he is thinking about Salim and that he wants to find his cousin. The eight theories are ranked as #7 because they proved to be incorrect by the evidence from Ted and Kat’s investigating. But, they can still show his feelings towards Salim.

#6: In the novel, nobody besides the police would take Salim’s ideas and thoughts on the mystery seriously. On pages 251-252, Ted believed he had come up with a answer to Salim’s disappearance. Unfortunately, nobody listens.

#5: Shortly after the middle of the story, Kat and Ted find the man who gave away the London Eye ticket for free. This shows how important Salim is to them, and it proves that they want to find him. If they didn’t care about their cousin, then they wouldn’t have tracked down the man.

#4: This event was when Salim took the free ticket from the man. This was basically the opening of the story because I could easily predict that something was going to go wrong in the Eye.

#3: This event was when Salim went missing on the London Eye. This event sets the suspenseful, mysterious mood/setting of the story. It is also the beginning of action in the story.

#2: The second most important event was when Marcus tells his story of him and Salim planning to run away. Marcus’s story helps Ted complete the most important event of the story…

#1: The most important event of the story was when Ted found salim locked in the Barracks the day before it was to be destroyed. It turns out that he was never kidnapped, and that he was locked up by Ted’s dad by accident. It nicely resolved the mystery.

My book is I'd Tell you I Love You but then I'd Have to Kill You by Ally Carter. There were many exciting things that has happened in this book. The top seven in the book are...

7. Joe Solomon joins the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women as a teacher in CoveOps. All of the girls in the school never get a chance to see guys for two reasons. One they have to keep identity a secret and two they don’t have time with being stuck in the school almost all year without being let out.

6. Joe Solomon requests Cammie, Liz, and Bex to lead the test mission and try to find out what they’re chief drinks at the carnival. They had to stay secret and could not be seen or else they would fail mission. Cammie had mastered the mission and was heading back to the truck and ran into Josh. It was love at first sight.

5. Cammie goes back to school and doesn’t tell anyone about Josh. She wants him all to herself and she knows that everyone would get on top of her asking about Josh. She was in a test drive for her drivers license and her friends saw Josh outside then looked at Cammie hiding from him. They knew something was up.

4. Cammie started to see Josh every night. She lived in the academy year round and knew all of the secret passage ways and could sneak out easily without being caught. She ditched her friends all the time just so she could go see Josh.

3. Cammie starts to go out with Josh. aving Liz, a genius, as a friend she was able to hack into his emails and find out what he was doing. Cammie was able to meet him and make dates when they could hang out together.

2. Josh finds out Cammie was lying to him the whole time. He was heart broken when he found out the Cammie was a completely different person. He loved her lies not what was really inside of her.

1. Josh found out the truth. He found out the Cammie had lied to him because of her life. She was really a spy. She wanted to tell him the truth so badly but if she did she would have to burn his memory. She didn’t want to hurt him, but she loved him so she made up complete lies. Now that he knew the truth she could be honest with him for the rest of their relationship.

Deck Z By Chris Pauls & Matt Solomon

#7-Mr.King was a former passenger on Titanic. He has been infected by the plague created by Mr. Theo Weiss. For some reason the terrible plague is beginning to infect the whole ship. This isn't very good for Weiss. He could be locked up with the zombies and also be infected. Mr. King (or should I say zombie King) had his head chopped off by the captain.

#6-A little girl's mom is now a zombie. When little Lou came back from a game of squash with Mr. Andrews, the mom came up to her. And she was a zombie. The plague has started to reach other people. The people in the Captain's quarters have given a name for the infected area: Deck Z.

#5-Weiss is defensive. He is being interrogated by people on the Titanic. Some of the questions are " Where are you from?" or "What do you have in your hand?" Now, we don't really know about his past. He could possibly have a criminal record, or have convicted murder.

#4-Weiss lost his vial of plague. This probably lead to why zombie King and zombie mom are now zombies. This could turn the Titanic into a plague infected ship. Could the people die from infection?

#3-Weiss has been accused of murder. A man in the Titanic was screaming at Weiss. The man was loud and obnoxious. This is a connection of why Weiss was being asked all the questions. And that is when he didn't want to be bothered.

#2-Weiss is boarding the Titanic without money. He gets drunk and goes and bets for a Deck E ticket. This shows how lazy Weiss is.

#1-The zombies shook the ship. The zombies are trying to tell a message. They are trying to say that the ship is theirs and if the people don't leave, they will die.

My book is "Anthem for Jackson Dawes"

#7 (pg 33) Megans Grandpa always had something to say, good or bad, funny or serious, it didn’t matter because no matter what the topic, it always made Megan smile. When she heard him speak, it took her mind off the situation she was in, unless the conversation was about her dilemma.

#6 (pg 102) Megan didn’t really want her friends to be at her house, she didn’t know why, but she knew the twins didn’t want to be there, they thought she was contagious. She was cooped up in the ward for a week and she already forgot what it like to be normal, she thinks looking at magazines and talking about boys is dumb now, but never the less it was time to get back to reality and Megan was ready.

#5 (pg 34) Megan's Dad traveled a lot, otherwise he would have been comforting Megan. It is always good to talk with your closest friend or parent, it can help relieve your stress and tension if you just let it all out. (pg 166-167) When she does see her dad again, she is overcome with happiness. When you haven’t seen someone you love in awhile, you really miss them and want to see them again, and when they do come back you shower them with love and affection.

#4 (pgs 55, 58, 84-85, 142, and 156) Megan was really warming up to the ward... and Jackson. Before she wanted nothing to do with the childrens ward or arrogant Jackson, but if she gave it a chance, there could have been so much more adventures and pranks! When she finally gave in, she had a blast and never wanted it to stop. The more comfortable you are the more fun you have!

#3 (pg 175) Megan was confused as to why Jackson left without telling her. Just when Jackson and Megan were becoming good friends, Jackson left unexpectedly making Megan sad and confused. If Jackson felt something for Megan, which I know he does, he would have said goodbye. But later on in the story it shows that he did say goodbye, but Megan was still woozy from the treatment so she didn’t remember.

#2 (pg 198) A few weeks after Megan returned home, she received a letter saying Jackson Dawes died. Megan was furious, depressed, and so many emotions she couldn't bare to live, like all the happiness in her life was swept in one clean sweep, breaking her heart along the way. It’s hard to lose someone you love, you feel so many different emotions it’s hard to overcome the pain.

#1 (pg 213 and 218-219) Megan sat and thought of all the memories she had in the ward, good memories. After someone dies, you try and think of all the good times you had with the person, It helps the healing process. Megan wishes Jackson was still alive, he was her opposite, and you know what they say, opposites attract. They balanced each other out perfectly and always had things to say and do with the other.

Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
7) Brian is the main character in the story. he is thirteen years old and his dad lives in Canada so from New York his mom gets him a plane ride to his dad. While flying over the Canadian wilderness on page ten it happened. “‘Don’t know, kid...’ The pilots words were barely audible. ‘Bad aches here. Bad aches. Thought is was something I ate but...’
He stopped as a fresh spasm of pain hit him. Even Brian could see how bad it was-the pain drove the pilot back into his seat, back and down.” With Brian in the copilot’s seat the real pilot died and he was left alone.

6)As the plane ran out of fuel he used his prior knowledge and bravery to land safely. He was able to find a lake aim the plane down and land right in it. This happend on page 27-29.

5) The next great event was getting the survival pack out of the plane. He had been living in the woods for a while, but never remember the pack till a storm hit. The storm destroyed his shelter but also lifted the plane out of the water exposing the tail, this reminded him of the pack. Then he had to swim down into the plane and get the bag.

4)Shelter is one of the top priorities of any survival situation. It is no wonder why it is in my top seven count down. After the plane crash he found a glacier cut boulder. Little did he know at that time but it was great for his survival. He used the rock for sparks to start a fire. There were small cracks that smoke escaped. The roof was rock so it kept out rain. Also it was close to his heart because it was his house.

3)Food is a very important thing without it we could not live. This source of energy was hard for brian to receive. He got food many different way. First he got it with what he called gut cherries, He ate them pit and all and the pits seemed to roll around in his stomach making him feel bad. Then he found raspberry bushes and he savored which as they got bad he ate them like a delicious dessert. Next he was able to catch fish. Whenever he stepped in the water these little fish surrounded him and he used this to his advantage by shooting them with a bow and arrow. Then he would put the scraps back in the water to get more fish there. Next he made a jail for the fish so it was easier to get the fish. Then Finally he got meat, he found these birds that he called fool birds. The bird’s camouflage made them really hard to find so they would not move until you are on top of them. Eventually he got an eye for them and ate them like chicken.

2)Surprisingly getting saved was not the most important part in the story, but still it is the second. On day 54 Brian was going through the survival pack and accidentally flipped on the emergency transmitter and it was received. The man came down seeing the plane in the water and met Brian.

1)The main Part of the story was an internal battle for his family. His Parents were divorced and he secretly knew the reason but only his mom knew as well. He knew his mom was seeing another man, but whenever he thought about this he was crippled internally. So he had to put this aside to survive, but that was nearly impossible so instead he drew motivation from it.

Book: Crash Author: Jerry Spinelli

7) Crash had a crush on a girl named Jane Forbes and when it was school dance night, he tried making a move on her. When he went over to her, all he did was try to impress her. When he asked her to dance, she told him no. Crash kept trying anyway and when she tried to leave, he wouldn’t let go of her. She had to kick him to get out of his grasp, and she left him. It was very rude of him to hold on to her like that, and it showed that he had a mean personality.

6) When Mike Deluca moved in, Crash took the same approach to him like he did to Penn when he moved. But this time, Mike stood up to Crash and pushed him back. It turned into a wrestling match, and at that moment Crash knew that they would be best friends. This was because they were so alike, and they had the same type of personality which caused them to be very close friends.

5) Instead of tricking Penn and letting Mike take his pet turtle, Crash helped Penn get it back. He knew that Mike was the one who took it, and Crash barged into his room. He took the turtle back and put in on Penn’s doorstep. This was the right thing to do, and it really showed that maybe Crash wasn’t a bully after all.

4) One morning when Crash woke up, he heard his grandpa Scooter (who he has a close relationship with) hammering something outside. He fell back asleep, and later he woke up again hearing no noise. He looked out his window and saw Scooter sitting down not moving at all. It turned out that he had a stroke, and he went to the hospital. Crash has had great memories with him, and he was worried that he would lose them if he died.

3) Penn had been running up and down the street every night to practice for the Penn Relays, which Crash was also in. It meant a lot to Penn to win because his great-grandfather, who also used to run in the Penn Relays, was coming to watch him race. During the race to see who would get the anchor leg spot, Crash helped him win. It was between those two at the end, and Crash yelled to Penn to lean forward so he would cross the finish line first. Penn won, and Crash did the right thing which was very nice of him to do.

2) Very early in the book, Penn showed Crash his jar of mud from the bottom of the Missouri River that he got from his great-grandfather. There was a legend that if you scoop up mud from the bottom of the river and wait fifty years, the mud can heal whatever is wrong with you. Even though this was important to Penn, he gave it to Crash to heal Scooter. This was what changed Crash’s mind about Penn completely, and he then started to really like Penn.

1) Crash and Mike bullied Penn many times throughout the book. Penn was the new kid but that didn’t give them the right to be mean. Penn was being actually being very nice to Crash but for some reason, he still decided to pull many pranks on Penn that to him were funny. This was very rude of them and unnecessary to do to Penn.
